The Village of Bellevue Community Development Department is proud to present a brief look at the year in review of permits issued within the community this last year.
Some highlights worth mentioning:
* The $71,714,821 in permitted value is the highest ever recorded for a single year in the history of the community breaking the previous record of $66,708,387 from just last year (2024) giving a 7.5% increase over 2024.
* 587 building permits were issued in 2025! 587 permits equal 49 permits issued per month, or 2.34 permits issued per working day.4 of the last 5 years rank in the top 5 of permitted value of all time within the Village of Bellevue.
* 68 single-family permits were issued for a total of $26,723,306 or $392,989 per UDC permit. 68 single-family permits are the most issued in a single year since 2005 when 93 SF permits were issued.
* A total of 86 housing units were added in 2025 made up of 68 single-family dwellings and 9 two-family dwellings.
Director of Community Development, Andrew J. Vissers, AICP, would like to acknowledge all of the hard work of the Community Development Department staff for their efforts in keeping up with the workload of permit review, issuance, and inspections.
He would also like to thank other departments for their efforts in the role the provide in assisting with facilitating development within the community as well as the elected officials and commissioners.
