GIS and Mapping

Welcome to the Village of Bellevue GIS Program

The Village of Bellevue's Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Program provides powerful mapping and data analysis tools that support informed decision-making, efficient service delivery, and long-range planning throughout the community.

GIS combines maps, geographic information, databases, and analytical tools to visualize, manage, and analyze location-based data. While GIS is commonly known for creating maps, its capabilities extend far beyond cartography. GIS allows users to identify patterns, evaluate trends, analyze relationships, and solve complex problems using both spatial and non-spatial data.

GIS technology is used across a wide range of industries and applications, including infrastructure management, land use planning, environmental protection, public safety, economic development, transportation, and utility operations. By integrating mapping with advanced data analysis, GIS transforms information into valuable insights that support better decision-making.

Interactive Mapping & GIS Hub

The Village of Bellevue's Community Development Department is pleased to provide an Interactive Mapping Application that gives residents, businesses, developers, and visitors convenient access to a wide variety of geographic information.

Using this tool, users can explore information related to property parcels, addresses, zoning, public works projects, parks, elections, businesses, streets, and more. The mapping system integrates data from multiple sources, including the Village of Bellevue, Brown County, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Our goal is to provide easy access to Bellevue-specific geographic information through the web and mobile devices, helping users make informed decisions and better understand their community.

Please note that the Interactive Mapping Application contains only a portion of the GIS data maintained by the Village. If you are unable to find the information you need, please contact the GIS/IT Manager at 920-593-5514 for assistance.
