Status: OPEN from 6:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
Description: The site is located on Eaton Road (CTH JJ) east of Grandview Road. Village Staff will not load or unload vehicles, trailers, etc. The gates will be open for village residents with a compost permit and village-based contractors who have a valid contractors permit from the village.
We accept the following materials: grass clippings, garden materials, leaves and brush, sod, and small stumps.
If your items are not on this list, we cannot accept them at this site. There are no exceptions. Please dispose of all other materials properly through alternative means, such as the Brown County Recycling Program at http://www.browncountyrecycling.org/what-do-i-do-with.
Please be aware that our compost site is under 24-hour video surveillance. Anyone caught illegally dumping will be fined $500.00 plus cleanup costs to dispose of the illegal material. Please follow the rules of the site and let us know if you see anyone violating them.
The Department of Natural Resources has requested that we post a notice stating that some trees and brush that came in contact with Imprelis herbicide may cause damage to trees. It is unknown whether any grass, mulch, or brush that has come in contact with Imprelis has been disposed of at our site.
Misuse and illegal dumping at the gate or on the site will result in fines, cleanup costs, and loss of future site use. Please report any illegal activity.
