Fire Suppression

The Green Bay Metro Fire Department provides fire protection on a 24 hour basis to the citizens and businesses of the village. The department operates out of two stations using two front line engine companies, one ladder company, and one heavy rescue company.

Emergency Medical Response

County Rescue and Green Bay Metro Fire Department Services provides paramedic level care for the village. During staffed hours, an engine company from Station 1 first responds to emergency medical calls to assist County Rescue. Having a response from the west side of the village maximizes coverage with an ambulance responding from the east side of the village.

MABAS

Occasionally there are emergency calls that the Fire Department will need to request additional help from surrounding communities. When this happens the department will utilize the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS). This system is in place throughout a vast majority of the Counties within the State including Brown County. MABAS provides communities experiencing large scale emergencies with much needed equipment and personnel during large emergency incidents. You can visit the MABAS website here
